UCA My Home talks to the server myhome.ucagg.de only after the owner pairs the TV with a code from their own panel. Without pairing, the launcher sends nothing.
What a paired TV sends
- The name you gave it, its model, the Android and launcher versions, the theme.
- Whether it is on, how long it has been running, the volume, which app is on screen (and the UCA TV channel).
- How many minutes each app was used per day, and the list of installed apps (for the panel).
- A random id made by the launcher; no serial number, no location, no passwords.
Who sees it
Only the owner, in their panel (and in ucagg.de/admin). Usage data is kept for 8 days on the TV and up to 90 days on the server, or until the TV is unpaired.
Commands
Only the panel the TV is paired with can send commands. Unpair it in the launcher's Settings or in the panel, and the connection stops.
